Acino in Ukraine is part of a Swiss pharmaceutical group and focuses its operations in the following areas:
▪ development and production of highly effective, safe, and quality generic medicines and dietary supplements
▪ commercialization and promotion of medicines from international pharmaceutical companies
▪ contract manufacturing and licensing of medicinal products, followed by promotion in cooperation with partners
BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Acino required effective digital tools for marketing and field force operations that could be rapidly deployed and flexibly adapted to business needs.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was an additional need to integrate with an educational-information platform for healthcare professionals, MedAcino – both at the stage of HCP registration and for conducting remote communication.
SOLUTION
IMPLEMENTED PRODUCTS:
▪ Proxima Cloud CRM – multilingual, flexible, omnichannel CRM system for pharmaceutical sales teams
▪ Proxima OCM – a comprehensive platform for managing omnichannel communications
▪ Axioma – a syndicated database of healthcare professionals (HCPs) and medical institutions.
The products were adapted to Acino’s business model following pilot projects, during which all necessary processes were configured.
In addition, the company received comprehensive technical support, including:
• personalized CRM configuration with access to the Axioma database
• setup of the omnichannel marketing module (OCM)
• regular product updates
• consulting and user support
• prompt resolution of technical issues
This ensured stable and uninterrupted usage at all stages of deployment.
An integration of the Proxima OCM, Proxima Cloud CRM, and Axioma platforms with the MedAcino portal was completed, enabling seamless registration of HCPs and effective remote engagement.
RESULTS
Collaboration with Proxima Research enabled effective management of promotional activities for the field team, significantly improving marketing performance.
